Russian Tea Cookies (Edit)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter softened

  • 1/2 cup powered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 2 1/4 cups flour

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts

Directions

  • Mix butter, powered sugar, and vanilla

  • Stir in flour, salt, and chopped nuts

  • Chill dough

  • Roll into 1 inch balls and place on un-greased cookie sheet (cookies do not spread when baked)

  • Bake at 400 °F for 10 - 12 minutes until set but not brown

  • While still warm, roll in powered sugar
