Hughlett christmas candy

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 1 cup karo syrup

  • 1/2 lb butter

  • 2 cups cream

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  • cook sugar, karo syrup, 1 cup cream until boiling

  • add rest of cream slowly

  • cook until softball (240° F)

  • take off heat

  • add vanilla

  • pour on to baking sheet to cool

  • cut and wrap in wax paper
